Conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos has had his run-ins with the powers that be at Twitter before. But this time, apparently his relationship with the platform is over. Milo was permanently suspended from Twitter on Tuesday night, just 20 minutes before his “Gays for Trump” event at the Republican National Convention.
What was Twitter’s issue with Milo this time? It seems to stem from his criticism of Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones.

Jones has been complaining about messages she received on Twitter after the release of the movie.
Milo tweeted, “If at first you don’t succeed (because your work is terrible), play the victim. EVERYONE GETS HATE MAIL FFS”
Jones responded that she reported Milo to Twitter and hoped they locked his account. She also called one of Yiannopoulos’s supporters a “racist bitch.”
Milo went on to tweet a few more times criticizing Jones saying: “Barely literate. America needs better schools!” and “Ghostbusters is doing so badly they’ve deployed @Lesdoggg to play the victim on Twitter. Very sad!”
He told Breitbart: “She must have read my review! Honestly, this is why I say feminism is cancer. She used to be funny but being involved in a social justice dumpster fire like Ghostbusters has reduced her to the status of just another frothing loon on Twitter.”
According to the Twitter, Yiannopoulos’ permanent suspension is due to a violation of Twitter’s rules regarding the targeted abuse of specific users.
I’m sure this story is far from over. Milo has enough loyal followers that they aren’t going to let the suspension rest.
