Starting today and airing nationally, the NRA has launched a $6.5 million TV ad buy that focuses on womens’ rights to defend themselves. The ad, which will be featured prominently in key battleground states such as North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, highlights the true story of a Indianapolis woman, “Kristi M.”

Kristi was able to defend herself against her attacker, thanks to having a gun. In the ad, she blames Hillary Clinton and the Democrats for trying to take away her Second Amendment rights.

The NRA supports Donald Trump, endorsing the GOP nominee back in May.

No doubt the “Kristi’s Story” ad will get a number of rabid comments and thumbs down from liberals on YouTube. But that doesn’t mean the TV ad won’t resonate with a large portion of Americans who are worried that, if Hillary Clinton is elected, their gun rights will be changed dramatically.
