One Philadelphia fast-food restaurant might experience a sudden plunge in popularity thanks to a group of employees who livestreamed their disgusting workplace habits.
In the offending 44-minute Facebook Live video, a group of Checkers employees can be heard bragging about their gross pranks.
Here’s a clip of what took place:
“We’re about to wash these floors with these buns,” one employee laughs.
“I wait for you to come up here. I blow my nose into these gloves and make you a (food item),” a drive-thru worker later says.
In response, Checkers corporate has released a statement apologizing for the video and informing customers that all employees involved have been fired.
“The employees involved will be terminated, the restaurant will be fully sanitized and re-inspected before it reopens, and all of the team members will be fully retrained,” a spokesperson told Fox 29.
The Checkers location featured in the video was nearly shut down earlier this month after receiving a whopping 15 violations from the health department for poor food safety and cleanliness practices.
No news has surfaced as to when the restaurant will reopen, but many longtime customers have taken to social media to express their disgust and to vow never to return to that Checkers location again.
