The FBI informed Congress on Sunday that it has not changed its conclusions about Hillary Clinton‘s use of her private email server. After reviewing the emails that were found on the computer of Anthony Weiner – the sex-crazed, estranged husband of Hillary’s top aide, Huma Abedin – the FBI has decided that Clinton is off the hook.
The investigation of the email situation was re-opened on October 28. And though it has been evident that Clinton and her staff were careless about the emails, apparently the FBI has determined that there is not enough evidence to charge the Democratic nominee.
“Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July,” FBI Director James Comey said in the letter to top Republicans on the House Oversight Committee.
In recent days since the investigation was re-opened, Donald Trump has gained significantly on Clinton in the polls. So, what will be the impact of this new announcement? With two days left until the presidential election, it’s impossible to tell.
