Controversial leftist filmmaker Michael Moore took to Twitter on Wednesday to encourage protesters to storm President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration and cause a disruption, insisting that such an unsportsmanlike action is necessary to prove a point.

Moore linked to a website called #DisruptJ20, a radical campaign for a “bold mobilization against the inauguration of Donald Trump” that hopes to flood the streets of Washington D.C. with “protests, direct actions, and even parties.”
“We call on all people of good conscience to join in disrupting the ceremonies,” the web page explains. The movement’s ultimate goal is to have Trump take his oath of office behind closed doors, which will supposedly show “the true face of the security state Trump will preside over.”
#DisruptJ20 has also called on its “comrades” in other cities to demonstrate on January 20th as well, suggesting general strikes, school walkouts, and a total shopping boycott. “No work, no school, no shopping, no housework,” the website reads.
Earlier on Wednesday, Moore appeared on CNN’s “The Messy Truth With Van Jones,” where he blasted the president-elect as a “malignant narcissist,” prompting boos from the audience. Although he predicted Trump’s victory in advance, Moore – who was a staunch supporter of failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton — took to the streets in New York City in protest in the days after the election.
