Television personality Rosie O’Donnell has escalated her longtime public feud with President-elect Donald Trump by lambasting him as “mentally unstable” on Twitter in reference to a story in which Trump allegedly booted a biographer from his golf course.
“DONALD TRUMP IS MENTALLY UNSTABLE,” Rosie wrote in all caps. “LESS THAN 3 WEEKS TO STOP HIM AMERICA,” the comedian added, linking to a CNN article that documented the biographer’s tale of getting ejected from the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
O’Donnell later used the platform to share an anti-Trump photo series hosted by BuzzFeed that features words uttered by the president-elect painted on nude female bodies in an unflattering light. “DT IS MENTALLY ILL,” O’Donnell wrote as a caption to the piece.
Trump and O’Donnell have been locked in a bitter feud ever since 2006, when Trump decided not to fire Miss USA Tara Conner after she was found to have participated in underage drinking, drug use, and sexual activities while she held the coveted crown.
The next day, O’Donnell took Trump to task during an appearance on The View (where she worked as a co-host) and blasted the real estate mogul as a “snake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie,” relentlessly criticizing his multiple marriages.
Trump fired back by calling O’Donnell “a loser,” insinuating that he would sue her over false allegations that he had gone bankrupt.
