MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski continued their all-out assault against President Donald Trump on Thursday morning, a day after Brzezinski banned White House counselor Kellyanne Conway from the show. Now, Brzezinski has blasted the Trump administration as a “fake presidency.”

After airing a montage of inconsistencies and falsehoods that have come out of the Trump White House this week and showing footage from the president’s Wednesday press conference that featured Trump chastising the “fake media” for its treatment of former national security adviser Michael Flynn, Scarborough and Brzezinski went into attack mode.

“He was the one who fired Gen. Flynn!” Scarborough insisted. “Of course Kellyanne lied and said Flynn quit. And there are all these other lies cascading out of the White House.”

Brzezinski chimed in to chide Conway once again for her “alternative facts” gaffe and blasted Trump senior advisor Stephen Miller for “describing the powers of the presidency in an incorrect, inappropriate and lying fashion.

After Scarborough blasted Miller’s claims about mass voting fraud in New Hampshire during last year’s presidential election – claims that have been branded as within the realm of possibility by Kansas’s Secretary of State – Brzezinski offered her own assessment of the Trump administration.

“It’s a fake presidency,” she said.

“It’s one lie on top of another lie, and then the president goes out and says what a great job he did,” Scarborough added.

The comments mark the latest display of the “Morning Joe” hosts using their program as a bully pulpit from which to bash the president. On Wednesday, Brzezinski alleged that Conway was out of touch with the administration’s inner circle and was simply booking herself on morning shows as a way of drawing attention to herself.

“I don’t believe in fake news or information that is not true. That is – every time I’ve ever seen her on television, something is askew, off or incorrect,” Brezinski said, later adding: “Kellyanne Conway does not need to text our show as long as I’m on it. It’s not happening here.”
