Somebody’s going to be getting a knock on their door from the Secret Service very soon if there’s any justice. A delusional professor at a California university took to Twitter to call for the death of President Donald Trump as the only way to “save American democracy.” Right.

Lars Maischak, who teaches American history at California State University at Fresno – not to mention a seminar on the “intellectual history” of Karl Marx – took to Twitter back in Febrary to froth at the mouth about his rabid leftwing views.

“To save American democracy, Trump must hang. The sooner and the higher, the better. #TheResistance #DeathToFascism,” Maischak tweeted, literally shaking behind his keyboard.

That wasn’t just a one-off tweet made in a moment of passion, though. Maischak’s Twitter feed is a goldmine of illegal messages that both call for and glorify the slaying of the president.

“#TheResistance Has anyone started soliciting money and design drafts for a monument honoring the Trump assassin, yet?” he wondered in February.

Three days later, Maischak extended his vitriol to conservatives in general: “#TheResistance #ethniccleansing Justice = The execution of two Republicans for each deported immigrant,” the liberal lunatic tweeted.

And in yet another tweet, Maischak proved himself incapable of understanding irony or basic civics. “#TheResistance A Democracy must not be tolerant of those who want to abolish democracy. It must vigorously defend itself. Ban the @GOP,” he whined.

When contacted by the Daily Caller about Maischak’s deranged Twitter presence, California State University at Fresno seemed unconcerned.

“Lars Maischak is employed as a lecturer at Fresno State,” a school employee said. “Statements made on his personal social media accounts are his alone and are not endorsed by or reflect the position of the University.”
