It used to be the stuff of conspiracy theories to suggest that there was just one group controlling all of society and culture, but how do you explain the suddenness of the “gender revolution?” It appears that Bill Nye is the Illuminati’s newest convert: the thought police is going back in time to modify episodes of his 1990s TV show to make sure they don’t contradict the social justice orthodoxy.
An eagle-eyed viewer discovered that an episode of “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” which ran from 1993 from 1998 and used to be a cherished part of our childhoods until recent events tarnished the memory, had been brazenly edited to remove a piece on gender education.
The segment featured a young woman schooling the audience about the way gender is determined by chromosomes. “I’m a girl. Could have just as easily been a boy, though, because the probability of becoming a girl is always one in two,” she explains.
She then goes on to use refrigerator magnets to show how a father, with two X chromosomes, and a mother, with one X and one Y chromosome, each pass on one of their chromosomes to their offspring — a process that only has two possible permutations.
Want to see the clip for yourself? It’s been uploaded to YouTube and can be viewed below, but if you try to check out the original episode for yourself on Netflix, it’s nowhere to be found. That’s because either Netflix, rights-owner Disney, or another concerned advocate for gender fluidity found the informative segment too triggering and decided to remove it completely.
