Fresh after meddling in the French presidential elections that saw globalist Emmanuel Macron prevail over populist Marine Le Pen, former President Barack Obama has now turned his attention to another favorite topic of the liberal elite: climate change alarmism.
Obama flew to Milan (in a gas-guzzling jet) and traveled to his glitzy hotel (riding in a gas-guzzling SUV as part of a 14-car convoy) to prepare for his keynote address at “Seeds and Chips – The Global Food Innovation Summit,” where he was slated to host a panel alongside his former White House chef, Sam Kass.
There, the former president and green energy advocate was quick to serve up some doom and gloom rhetoric about climate change.
“When it comes to climate change, the hour is almost upon us,” he said, instructing the world to “set aside our parochial differences” and take the issue of melting icecaps and rising sea levels to heart.
“If we seize the future, there is nothing that we cannot do,” Obama continued. “I do not believe that this planet is condemned to ever-rising temperatures. I believe there are problems that were caused by man and can be solved my man.”
Among these problems, Obama argued by extension, is the refugee crisis that is currently plaguing Europe – an issue that climate change supposedly played a significant role in bringing about.
“Some of the refugee flow into Europe originate not only from conflict, but also from places where there are food shortages that will get far worse as climate change continues,” he said. Speaking out of the other side of his mouth, though, Obama also blamed widespread meat consumption as another problematic practice.
“As people want to increase meat consumption, that in turn is spiking the growth of greenhouse emissions coming out of the agricultural sector,” he observed, claiming that people are largely ignorant about how cow farts fill the atmosphere with greenhouse gases.
Obama’s solution? “Have a smaller steak” to stop climate change.
