Miracles do happen! Ben Afflect has made a responsible decision for once! It’s been revealed that the actor has stepped away from Netflix film, Triple Frontier, and his reasons are entirely honorable.
According to Deadline, Affleck plans to “take some time to focus on his wellness and his family,” which, in light of everything that’s going on, sounds like a good idea.
Over the past couple years, multiple reports have suggested he cheated on his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, leading to the end of their marriage. One of his alleged mistresses, Lindsay Shookus, a Saturday Night Live producer, seems to be his current flavor of the month.
Despite his mistakes, sources claim that “Ben’s family still remains of the utmost importance to him” so, hopefully, that means he will be laying low for a while so that his kids have fewer headlines to deal with.
In the meantime, Triple Frontier will move forward. This is the third lead actor the project has lost after both Tom Hardy and Channing Tatum pulled out due to scheduling conflicts (how does that even happen?).
