Diamond and Silk, co-hosts of “The Viewer’s View” YouTube channel that has almost 90,000 subscribers and 367 videos uploaded, have accused the Google-owned social media platform of demonetizing the vast majority of their work because of their conservative political views.

The duo took to Twitter on Thursday to call YouTube out for the sudden shift in policy and were unequivocal in their beliefs as to why they were targeted.

“@YouTube @TeamYouTube stopped over 95% percent of our videos from being monetized, stating: ‘It’s Not Suitable For All Advertisers,” they posted on their @DiamondandSilk handle. “Wonder if @YouTube @TeamYouTube stopped the monetization of our videos because we are loyal supporters of the @POTUS…. Hummmm……..”

Diamond and Silk went on to blast YouTube for its hypocritical practices, claiming that the demonetization reeks of “censorship” and labeled the move as “a Bias Method used to Silence our Conservative Voices.”

“How was it ok to monetize our videos for the past two years and now those same videos are no longer eligible for monetization?” they wondered. “It appears that @YouTube is trying to determine what people can & cannot see & hear by removing debate, diversity & a difference of opinion.”

The pair even hinted at a class action lawsuit:

The case of Diamond and Silk attracted the attention of numerous high-profile conservative figures, including Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity.

“How sad in America that only conservatives get investigated, fired, boycotted and attacked,” he wrote on Twitter. “Double standard, & liberal silence is repulsive!”
