A Florida woman is facing a felony charge after she tried to run over her daughter’s boyfriend in her car after he exposed their affair, a scandal that ruined the relationship between mother and daughter and nearly got their mutual lover killed in the process.
58-year-old Kathleen Regina Davis confessed to police that she carried on a salacious affair with her daughter’s 33-year-old boyfriend while they were still together, the Palm Beach Post reported.
When the promiscuous paramour decided to come clean about the arrangement to Davis’s daughter, she broke all ties with her mother. That caused Davis to drive to the man’s house last week in her Mercedes-Benz to exact justice.
First, the jilted mother began throwing eggs at his house and his cars. When the man came outside and confronted Davis, she then began trying to run him down. Police arrived just in time to see the victim playing dodge-the-Mercedes as Davis drove in circles across his front yard attempting to crash into him.
When questioned by police, the man said that Davis nearly struck him with her vehicle multiple times. He also claimed that, despite the fact that he was no longer dating her daughter, Davis told him that she wanted to run him over and see him die.
Now, Davis is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. She was released from the Palm Beach County Jail last Friday after posting a $3,000 bond.
