If this story doesn’t make your skin crawl, I don’t know what will. Mark Salling, who is best known for appearing in the role of Puck on the now-cancelled show, Glee, has entered a guilty plea to child pornography charges and the details are pretty disgusting.

Mark Salling arrives for a court appearance

Frederick M. Brown / StringerThe actor has been facing two counts of possessing child pornography ever since officers found – wait for it -

Salling had been charged with 2 counts of child porn after cops found more than 50,000 images of child pornography and erotica on his personal computer. As if that wasn’t enough, they also discovered 4,000 images and 160 videos on a thumb drive because, you know, he had to have kiddie porn for on the go.

    This guy… ugh.

Some of the victims were between three and five years old and Salling admitted to using software to hide his IP and download child pornography! Now, he’s agreed to pay $50,000 in restitution to any of the victims who file a written request.

He faces up to 20 years in prison but this agreement makes it more likely that he’ll serve four to seven years behind bars. When he gets out, he’ll be a registered sex offender who will be monitored for 20 years and will not be allowed to live within view of school yards, parks, public swimming pools, playgrounds, video arcades, or any other places frequented by people under age 18.

Awful. What else can you say? This is really awful.
