Once the Harvey Weinstein nightmare started to unfold, you had to know that it was going to take some other people down with it. Right now, Ben Affleck is definitely against the ropes as women come forward alleging he groped them. Now, it’s Amazon Studios President, Roy Price’s, turn.
Actress Rose McGowan really has become the face of this movement in Hollywood. At just 22 years old, she claims that Weinstein raped her and was later given a settlement of $100,000 as a result.
She has made Twitter her platform for this topic and directly took aim at Amazon and implored the site’s founder, Jeff Bezos, to “stop funding rapists… I love @amazon but there is rot in Hollywood,” McGowan wrote.
Within hours, Isa Hackett, who produces The Man in the High Castle, an Amazon exclusive, claimed that she had been propositioned by Price who also allegedly subjected her to lewd comments including, “you will love my dick” at Comic-Con 2015.
Now, it’s been announced that Roy Price has been suspended and we can’t help but wonder who is next. This has definitely been an interesting week.
