A New York activist who was behind the Women’s March on Washington and has positioned herself on the vanguard of the social justice movement claims she was kicked off an American Airlines flight in Miami by a pilot with a serious case of “white male aggression.”

Mallory was on her way home to New York when she got into a dispute with a gate agent over her seat assignment, the New York Daily News reported. The pilot allegedly butted into the argument and had Mallory dismissed from the flight when she would not back down.

“It definitely was white male aggression,” she said. “I was singled out, I was disrespected, and he was trying to intimidate me. I was discriminated against.”

American Airlines appeared to dispute her claims.

“Our team does not tolerate discrimination of any kind,” American Airlines spokesman Joshua Freed said. “We take these allegations seriously, and we are in the process to our colleagues in Miami, as well as Ms. Mallory, to obtain additional information on what transpired during the boarding process.”

Mallory’s dispute with the gate agent began when she used an airport kiosk to change her middle seat to an aisle seat. When she was issued a new ticket that shunted her back to the middle seat and asked the agent why, she claims the response was “nasty” and “disrespectful.”

A pilot who overheard the scuffle allegedly interjected, telling her that the gate agent had “nothing to do” with her seat mix-up and scolding her over her attitude.

“Then he said to me, ‘Can you get on this flight? Are you going to be a problem on this flight?’ I said, ‘No, I’m not. Actually, I’m fine. But I will write my complaint down.’” she recalled. “He looked at me and said, ‘You’re going to get yourself a one-way ticket off this plane.”

Sure enough, the pilot booted her off the plane, causing her to “weep.”

“Doesn’t matter how much we do and how hard we fight, white men are allowed to treat black women like sh*t,” she wrote on Twitter. “Other ppl stand by and watch it happen because it doesn’t affect them. If I have to fight alone, @AmericanAir will NEVER GET AWAY W/ THIS.”
