Actress Chloe Grace Moretz will hopefully be able to breathe a sigh of relief after a judge granted her a restraining order against a stalker who she claims had been following her and her boyfriend, Brooklyn Beckham, and leaving the couple fearing for their safety.
The “Kick-Ass” star filed for a restraining order against one Terry Daniel Quick, who she claims is “mentally ill” and has showed up at her home and followed her to various entertainment venues, TMZ reported.
Moretz presented the judge with snippets from Quick’s social media presence that appeared to prove his creepy obsession with her. Quick frequently took to Twitter to post about his love for Moretz, brag about chasing her all over town, openly fantasize about one day marrying her. He even uploaded a bizarre picture of real blood for whatever deranged reason.
Court records show that Moretz accused Quick of following her all the way from LAX to her home on November 29. The freaky fan allegedly rang the doorbell, but her brother answered the door and shooed him away while Moretz called 911.
When police arrived and placed Quick under arrest, he tried to smooth the situation over by explaining that he’s actually engaged to Moretz and was simply trying to see his fiancée… yeah.
Under the terms of the restraining order, Quick is prohibited from having any contact from Moretz, her brother, or her mother and must stay 100 yards away from all three of them at all times. If she spots him again while out and about, she can call the police to have him immediately arrested.
