This New Year’s Eve, pour one out for this poor soul. A Taiwanese man is missing a family jewel after his wife reportedly bit off one of his testicles during a particularly passionate lovemaking session that will likely end up having lifelong consequences for the unfortunate fella.
The victim, a 51-year-old man whose surname is Wang (no pun intended), was getting it on with his wife, a 49-year-old lady surnamed Hsieh, when things got way too out of control, the Daily Mail reported.
“I accidentally bit it off!” the wife told paramedics when they arrived to the couple’s apartment just after 2:00 am to find a robed Wang holding the severed organ in a rice bowl.
The aggrieved man, who works at a car repair shop and has two children, was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for his nightmarish injury. While doctors were able to suture his scrotum closed, Wang’s right testicle was not reattached for fear that the procedure would introduce a nasty infection.
“We were concerned he would not be able to regain proper function of his testicle, which could lead to male infertility in the future,” the doctor said, noting that Wang would have to undergo further fertility testing to determine whether the toothy tryst would result in lasting damage.
Reports out of Taiwan suggested that Hsieh suffered from a form of mental illness that caused her to bite off her husband’s prized possession in a “surge of excitement.” Here’s to hoping that whatever mental illness it was that caused this tragedy is exceedingly rare and extremely easy to cure.
