Some stories are just such foolishness and this is one of them. A court clerk slipped Meek Mill a note during his probation violation hearing asking him for money – and now she’s been fired. Sigh.
The clerk, Wanda Chavarria, needed the money because her son is trying to get an education at VCU and, she wrote, ”unfortunately with my bad credit, I am unable to secure a loan or co-sign a loan for my son. Anything that you can do is very much appreciated.” Basically, she needs help covering her son’s tuition.
According to Mill’s lawyers, Chavarria first verbally asked for money within earshot of Judge Genece Brinkley, although, the former clerk denies that the judge knew about her note.
Brinkley ultimately sentenced Mill to 2 to 4 years in prison.
