Help Wanted: 50 Wacky Jobs was released for the Nintendo Wii on May 12, 2009 and it looks like a lot of fun. If you’ve played games like WiiPlay and WarioWare Smooth Moves, you will probably be prepared for some of the skills you’ll need to complete the tasks. As is the case with those other games, Help Wanted will likely make you look like a complete fool as you play it but who cares if it’s fun!
From what I understand, players will get to choose from 50 different odd jobs including Haunted House Monster, Clown, Make-up Artist, Pinch Hitter, Pizza Chef, Stunt Car Driver, Sumo Referee (I am not sure I even want to know what this entails!), Action Hero and Sushi Master. In case you start to get bored, the game features multiple difficult levels so you can change things up and make them more or less challenging.
You will also earn money for the jobs you perform so you’ll be able to go into the virtual shop and buy things that you can keep in your “collector’s room.” Some of the goods that you buy can be used for more than just showing off. Some times can help save the planet or delay it’s extinction from a meteor.
The game can be played solo or you can battle another player in up to 15 different jobs.
You can get a pretty good idea of what the game will look like from the screenshots but just in case you would like to see a little more, here’s the trailer:
