Up hits theaters tomorrow and what better way to get ready than to check out some great production stills and the trailer. Pixar’s newest movie will be going up against Drag Me To Hell (preview coming to Every Joe tomorrow!) which has been really hyped up. Which movie are you going to see?
The plot follows 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen who ties thousands of balloons to his house in hopes of floating off to fulfill his lifelong dream of seeing South America. The only problem is that he didn’t plan on having company but must figure out how to handle the 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer he discovers trapped on his front porch, miles above the ground.
It’s a cute, if far-fetched plot but I think that there is enough to the story to keep both young and older members of the audience entertained. Judging from the production stills and the trailer, the animation looks really good which is a huge bonus but I’m not surprised since Pixar has always been pretty great.
