“Weeds” Season 4 on DVD, Season 5 Preview

The fourth season of Showtime’s hit show, Weeds, comes out on DVD tomorrow so, if you missed it, this is a great time to catch up! The show follows the life of Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) who looks like any other suburban soccer mom but she has a secret – she’s a 
drug dealer.
In this season, Nancy has moved her family near the border to get a fresh start after things in her old neighborhood started to deteriorate (she even set her own house on fire to have an excuse to leave town).
As she takes on the role of a drug trafficker, Nancy’s life takes some unexpected twists and turns – some that she knows about and others that she doesn’t.
Showtime has announced that the fifth season of Weeds will premiere on June 8, 2009 (just one week from today!) and will feature Jennifer Jason Leigh in a new recurring role as Nancy’s sister Jill Price-Gray. Canadian singer, Alanis Morrissette will also make an appearance in seven episodes as an obstetrician.
