$1 Million Ain’t Casual

banner_zoom.jpgThe World’s Best Casual Gamer was rewarded over the weekend for her prowess at a selection of popular casual games. The competition, sponsored by Fun Technologies as part of the WorldWide Web Games event in Tinseltown, challenged nearly six dozen players in 12 hour battle including rounds of Bejewelled, Zuma and Solitaire.

Kavitha Yalavarthi, snagged the crown, beating out all other competitors to claim not only the title, but the grand prize.

The reward? A cool $1 million. For games that I play obsessively on my lunch breaks. With news like this, I’m thinking I should practice up and make a go at it myself next year.
