$10000 Omaha and $1500 Horse ESPN Events

Tonight reairs the dual showing of Michael Mizrachi’s attempt at a $ 10,000 WSOP Omaha bracelet and Phil Hellmuth’s run at a 12th bracelet in the $1500 HORSE event. It’s a bit better viewing than the other broadcasts have been but still stuck mostly on all-in races.

As annoying as Phil is, he pretty much keeps showing down the big hands in the event and continues to prove why he is know as the best, even if at the same time he’s ridiculously overblown in the head.

The guy with the alligator hat, is that really how you want to be remembered? When you look back at the night you got on national TV and you are known as the gator guy?

Ah well, no one said poker players have taste.

I hope by next year someone decides to do a better job editing these events for the more interesting hands, or else I can’t see how it will continue to keep viewers.

It never gets old listening to Phil whine about how bad people play except for him does it?
