Rich McIver sent me a link to 101 Reasons Freelancers Do it Better over at HR World. The list, which apparently was put together by a group of editors, is broken into several categories, including Time, Sticking it to The Man, Money, Relationships, and others.
If you’re not freelancing now, you will when you finish reading the list, or you’ll get more serious about striking out on your own. The list runs from serious to silly, making it fun. Hard to choose my favorite entries, but No fluorescent lighting is right up there for me, along with Time is on your side, and Following your heart is easier.
By the way, there are links almost hidden within the article… poke around; you may be pleasantly surprised.
