Rain Check for Wii

There’s been bad news for Wii coveters here recently.
Times were looking bleak. You’ve searched all of the stores, you’ve called everyone you know, you’ve even considered Ebay.
Still, no Wii.
Don’t despair good readers.
Nintendo America and GameStop are coming together to offer rain checks. If you “pay the full price of about $249 for an out-of-stock Wii on December 20 and 21 at retailer GameStop Corp, [you] will get a certificate promising a Wii sometime in January.”
I know this sucks just a tiny bit.
You were hoping to wake up Christmas morning and race down to find the Wii that Santa had left sitting under the tree with a big purty bow. Chances are good that’s not gonna happen. BUT, you know you’ll get one in January.
Keep your tree up to maintain the Christmas spirit until then.
