15 Minutes of Fame

One of the parts of the mesh conference that I’m really excited about is 15 Minutes of Fame in which three entrepreneurs on each of the two days get five minutes (hence, the 15 minutes) to pitch their companies in front of 400 people. There were a lot of really good applications this year, which may suggest there’s more activity happening than last year – or that more more people are aware of the conference. In any event, I think 15MOF is a great way to give entrepreneurs an excellent forum to strut their stuff, and encourage other people to throw their hats into the entrepreneurial ring based on the idea that if the person on stage can do it, there’s no reason why they can’t do it as well. The six 15MOF presenters will be selected soon so stay tuned for the line-up.
