April 18, 2007 by Patrick Quek

Taiwan gaming giant Soft-World has paid US$2 million in royalty to Korea Gigassoft for an adult martial arts online game – Twelve Sky. This is the first for Korea small and medium gaming developers, first time that such a grand royalty has been paid.

Although Twelve Sky has been around in Korea for four years, Soft-World is optimistic that this MMO will create a sensation in the Chinese online gaming market in the future. Really, only time will tell if the hefty $2 million is justified.
