The last year has not been a good one for the corporate world. Many world companies have lost a great deal of money. CNN Money and Fortune have put together a list of the 20 biggest losers in the Global 500 . Here they are:
- Fannie Mae
- Royal Bank of Scotland
- General Motors
- Citigroup
- UBS
- ConocoPhillips
- Ford Motor
- HBOS
- Time Warner
- Pemex
- Delta Air Lines
- Hypo Real Estate holding
- Hitachi
- Alcatel-Lucent
- Credit-Suisse
- BayernLB
- LynondellBasell Industries
- Flextronics International
- Mizuho Financial Group
- Deutsche Bank

Looking at the list, it’s not too hard to figure out why they are here. And it’s not much of a surprise that Fannie Mae is the biggest loser of all.
