2007 Into The Pixel Finalists

Nowhere has the “game = art” mantra been more self-evident than the annual Into the Pixel contest, which examines and rewards the highly creative and talented artists that are behind many of our favourite games. The display used to be a part of the E3 expo, but with it being exploded into a series of smaller shows, the 2007 collection of original works will be showcased at both E3 in July, and the “E For All” event October 18-21 in the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Even if you don’t particularly care for some of the games, it’s very difficult not to appreciate the mounds of hard work that go into every single pixel. Check out all of the finalists here.
