Phil, I hope you will read, enjoy and review my book. I am so honored just to be included in the "possibles". Thank you and all the best to you!

Great list; I saw some new titles I'd like to read. Thank you.

You might want to look at Lee Cockerell's "Creating Magic". It's a leadership book that came out in the last few months with some great ideas. Otherwise, I'd be happy to review it, too.

J.D. - I am a HUGE John Maxwell fan! I have the boxed Leadership Gold set as well as almost all of his books. I even was a Maximum Impact member for a while, and attended a few MI seminars. Good stuff.

I'm not familiar with Thank You for Arguing. I'll have to check it out.

I share lessons, so I guess it's not really a "review." I'm glad it's helpful though.

Insightful and crappy...Love it!

If you want to share any reviews, let me know. 500 words or more of unpublished work and I'll share them here so we all can get smarter!

1) They're good.
2) Anything by Maxwell. Is it just me or is he too awesome?
3) Lots. What surprises me is how the 8th Habit and Thank You for Arguing don't come up enough. The 8th Habit is insanely researched, and Thank You for Arguing is remarkably powerful for skilled influence.

Note that I tend not to be a fan of book reviews, simply because the focus is on rating a book against some criteria. I prefer sharing lessons learned from books.

I point this out because I've read many, many insightful, but *crappy* books ;)

Sometimes books fall short on the macro lesson, but excel at the micro-lessons.
