2009 Corvette ZR1

Whenever I think of the Corvette I think mid-life crisis. The Vet has always seemed to be synonymous with power and prestige. Well the new 2009 Corvette ZR1 is the pinnacle of Chevrolets design achievements and the daddy of all sports cars.

Housing a smaller engine that other 2009 Corvette’s, the ZR1 is made to be both lighter and more powerful. The 6.2L has a supercharged V8 that is capable of pumping out a whopping 638 hp. That’s is enough to launch the Corvette from 0-60mph in just 3.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 200+ mph! Now that’s impressive.
If you want one of these you will have to be able to fork out the $106,000 starting price, and that’s not exactly loose change.
