Tired of driving the minivan? The new 2009 GMC Acadia is a great cross-over SUV that is able to seat 7 comfortably inside its newly redesigned interior. The Acadia may not look like much on the outside but looks can be deceiving as the interior space is surprisingly maximized.

The Acadia comes available in either a front-wheel or four-wheel drive configuration. The standard Vortec 3.6L SIDI V6 288hp engine borders on the light side, but still manages to be able to tow 4500lbs. That’s basically just a light boat or small trailer. If you are looking for something with more towing ability you may want to consider another GM SUV.
The Acadia comes in a variety of trims to suite any budget. fully loaded the Acadia will cost you about $41,225. The base price for the Acadia is about $32,625. And with a fuel efficiency rating of just 17mpg in the city and 21mpg out on the highway you best opt for a more efficient vehicle if the environment is your first concern.
