While it used to be known as the economical Japanese car, the new 2009 MazdaSpeed 3 enters the relm of race-car.

Okay maybe not a race-car yet but the Mazdaspeed can go fast. Mazda is still known to offer financing to people who would otherwise be turned down. However, Mazda is offering more of a variety of cars than just the economical line-up.
The new MazdaSpeed 3 comes with a 2.3L I4 MZR engine that delivers 263hp. Because it is fitted with a turbocharger the engine does suffer from a slight delay. Amazingly, dispite the power of the MazdaSpeed 3 it can still get an impressive 11.8L/100km (20mpg) in the city and 28L/100km (28mpg) on the highway.
