The all new 2009 Scion xB are coming to Canada! They were unveiled at the 2009 Montreal International Auto Show and will become available in major cities later this year.

In case you are unfamiliar with the Scion it was first released in North America in 2004 but was reserved for California consumers. Now the Scion can be seen throughout the United States and now they are ready for Canadians. Because the car is so low to the ground they had to work out how the car would tolerate snow and icy road conditions.
The Scion is made by Toyota who wanted to test the N. American market with something light and affordable. At a price tag of just $16,420 the Scion is one of the least expensive cars in its class. But you don’t get the feel that you are in a small car like in a Prius. The Scion’s innovative design makes it very spacious, you’ll feel like you are in a SUV.
Something Toyota envisioned for the Scion was to make a car highly customizable. Added packages can be purchased for the Scion to help boost it’s appearance or your ego. Consider the small but powerfull 2.4L I4 158hp engine. Buy a Turbo pack and sup that engine up to an even more impressive 200hp. Or you might be the type to try and get the most fuel efficiency out of your Scion. Test a few things and try to get better than the already impressive 22 mpg city/28 mpg highway. Also if you feel confident that you have a truly unique Scion that you customized enter it into the Allen Scion Modified Car Contest that takes place every year. The people truly appreciate the value only a Scion could bring. And if that were’nt good enough, the Scion offers special financing options for college graduates and poeple in the military.

It’s nice to see they rounded it out a bit and it no longer looks like a toaster, but is it me or is the new XB and the Kia Soul (More the Kia than the XB) look like they are trying hard to emulate the Mini Cooper?
