Currently only available in Canada, the 2009 Suzuki Swift+ is a great economical car that out performs other compact cars in its class. It’s not only cheap at the dealership but also inexpensive at the pump.

It may not be a hybrid but it’s small 1.6L DOHC I4 engine gets an impressive 7.9(36mpg) in the city and 5.7L(50mpg) on the highway. The 106hp engine is also enough power to launch the small car to an impressive 0-60 in just 8.9sec. Believe it or not that’s better than the new BMW Mini-Cooper.
For those of you who don’t know, the Suzuki Swift+ is a continuation of the Daewoo Kalos after it’s remains were sold to Suzuki in 2004. The Swift + isn’t available in the United States just yet, but it will be coming to the U.S of A in 2010. Not too long of a wait for those of you dying to get your hands on one of these.
You can get the new 2009 Suzuki Swift+ at a starting price of just $14,495.
