2009 VW Rabbit
Your chances of getting the Rabbit are quickly coming to an end as next year the Rabbit will again be transformed into the newly designed Golf. The 2009 VW Rabbit delivers quality performance with it’s unique 2.5L I5 170hp engine. The fifth cylinder helps even out the strokes so that the engine performs more smoothly and with less noise than a typical I4. The Rabbit also gets an impressive 22mpg in the city and 30mpg out on the highway.
If you are looking to get one of these for your teenage driver you might be initially impressed by the cars starting price of just $16,300. What might seal the deal though is that the Rabbit has an impressive safety spec-sheet. The Rabbit comes with anti-slip regulation (ASR), electronic stabilization program (ESP), hydraulic brake assist (HBA) and vented front brakes. It also has added safety features like the anti-lock braking system, engine brake assist (EBA), six airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
If all these features still keep you wondering than go and check one out at your local VW dealership for a test drive today.
