Now in it’s 4th generation the new 2009 Acura TL is quite the sight. Looking nothing like the Vigor predecessor, the TL is one of the best cars in the mid-size luxury sedan class. Built in Marysville, Ohio, the Acura TL is American despite the Japanese accent.

Acura seems to be listening to consumers because they built the new TL a little bigger for extra interior space. It also has a wider wheelbase for better control and handling. Since the car is bigger it comes available with either the 3.5L V6 280hp or 3.7L V6 302hp (the 2008 Acura TL had a lighter 3.2L). If you do opt for the 3.7L you will get the ever impressive variable valve timing system that helps maximize power and efficiency. But don’t expect the best fuel consumption the Acura TS gets an average of 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
Performance wise, the Acura TL is more than worthy. It is capable of going from 0-60 mph in just 5.5 seconds. And with a governor limited top-speed of 150 mph you’ll have all the speed you need for todays roads.
