If you thought that Ford pulled out of the minivan market think again. Ford has decided to launch their all new 2010 Ford Transit Connect vehicles in North America. The Transit Connect was designed to be a functional van with the maneuverability of a small car. It was designed with small business owners in mind. You can have the cargo area designed with shelves or hangers for your supplies or tools.

This may not be the van for the suburban family but no longer will a business owner have to decide between a large cargo van or a bulky pickup truck. The success of the Transit Connect in Europe has encouraged Ford executives to test the markets in The United States and Canada. Not only is this a practical vehicle to maneuver around town in, it is also a very fuel efficient van. The Transit Connect will get you 22mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway, that’s the best in it’s class by the way.
Personally if I had a small business that required scuttling around my wares this would be the vehicle of choice. It might even take over for those clunky looking UPS or DHL trucks. Check out the video below or www.FordVehicles.com/TransitConnect

I actually had the opportunity of driving one of these. I’m also a HUGE VW enthusiast so my opinion might be a lil bias here, but for the price this car is great, and we all know VW makes engines you could shoot with a canon. This car would look great in VW factory paint they have for the R32! Deep Blue Pearl would be my color of choice for this one. Kudos VW!
