The micro-car could be the future of driving. According to statistics they are safer than bigger cars because they cause less damage to other vehicles. But will people buy into this. Micro-cars are not new, though now with more people turning to alternative vehicles some are watching the highly anticipated 2010 Myers Motors NmG2.

2010 Myers Motors NmG2
Manufactured by Myers Motors in Ohio, USA the NmG stands for No More Gas (second generation). The fully electric powerplant offers some surprising results. The car can reach an impressive top speed of 75mph. This may not seem fast but consider that the electric engine has impressive torque. So driving in the city where everything is stop and go you’ll be better equipped to pass other vehicles.
The car now comes with an improved lithium-ion battery that has a range of about 65miles before needing to be recharged. The starting price of the new NmG is a little steep, $30,000 steep. Though high, you are buying a car that says that you are no longer a slave to fossil fuels.

Is this a new American car company?
They used to be called Corbin Motors when they were established in 1996 in Hollister, California. There were only a few electric cars built and the company went bankrupt. But now with the added interest in electric vehicles they were bought and renamed Myers Motors and moved to Tallmadge, Ohio in 2004. I suppose that makes them a relatively new American car company.
This gotta be the UGLIEST car I have ever set my eyes on in my life. Who in the hell would drive around in this thing? Looks like something 20 clowns would jump out at the circus. Holy hell!
Ugly is obviously an opinion. Look how many first style Chevrolet Luminas were sold to the public. The Pontiac Aztek came out so ugly they had to put rebates on them to get the first ones off the dealer lots. The list goes on. I’m looking forward to driving something that won’t require me to support OPEC. What OPEC does with the money we send them is truly ugly, unless you figure even terrorists need our support.
