Named after the Greek Goddess of the Dawn, the new 2010 Volkswagen Eos it truly a thing of beauty. Winner of the ‘2009 World Car of the Year,’ the Eos is now available for all of it’s North American consumers. If you are looking for a roomy hard-top convertible this might just be the car for you. Unlike it’s rival, the Volvo C70, the Eos is less expensive and much more powerful.

The 2010 VW Eos has a retractable hardtop that also has a built in sunroof, giving you the versatility of a true hardtop or convertable. The added feature makes the roof a little bulkier so it does take it’s time to retract, though for many that’s just a fractional discomfort considering it’s engineering.
What is impressive is what’s under the hood. The Eos comes in two engine trims – the 2.0L 200hp turbo or the 3.0L V6 250hp turbo. Both engines are adequate power to launch the VW Eos onto the racetrack.
Currently, Volkswagen is offering a trade-in recycling program that will give you cash towards your new purchase. Depending on your current vehicle it might be worth it to help get you into a new Eos.
