25 Different Leg Exercises

Last blog I talked about challenging your legs and getting the most out of the strongest muscles in your body. This blog I’m providing you a list of 25 great leg exercises and some of the variations that will help you develop great all around legs.

1. Leg extensions – nothings better at getting the top of your thighs.
2. Face down leg curls – hit your hamstring.
3. Calf raises
4. Lunges
5. Squats – make sure you do them properly.
6. Leg press – try one leg or two leg sets.
7. Seated jumps
8. Lateral lunges – try these with small dumbells.
9. Stair steppers
10. Step-up, Step-down – use a 14-20 inch platform.
11. Leg abductors
12. Leg adductors
13. Rotex machine
14. Spiderman crawl – try crawling using only your hands and feet.
15. Water leg kick – generate power by hanging onto the rail at the pool.a
16. Air squats
17. Leg balances – Stand on one leg and pick up light weight dumbells.
18. Reverse lunges
19. Frog jumps – jumping as far as you can forward from a stand still.
20. Glute push – work your butt on the glute machine if your gym has one.
21. Jump w/ twist – increase your hang time by adding twisting horizontally in your jumps.
22. Bike riding – great toning for your legs.
23. Car push – Want to be a powerhouse? Push a car.
24. Sprints
25. Lateral moves – Improve your speed in all directs.
