So I’m sittin there dilligently working away to finish something up and The Boss comes up to my desk and plops this big giant box down on it. It’s this big black and silvery box. Across the front it says “Playstation 3″. He’s got this big goofy grin on his face and a Best Buy bag in his hand. I look at him and kinda give him a nod. He tells me he wants it set up in the big conference room. Tells me what games he got for it. (CoD3, Ridge Racer 7, and ugh Madden). I’m like “Alright.” I go get our A/V guy and we head to the conference room, unpack it all and get it all set up.

First off. Thing is effing heavy. Has some serious weight to it. You could drown an entire litter of puppies with this thing. It’s shiny. Only comes with one controller. It is wirless and much like the 360 controller it has a USB cord for charging the battery. The cord however is short as hell. I mean it’s seriously short. I guess they didn’t really want you using the controller when it was plugged in. Anyways you power it on, you get a menu much like the PSP’s. There’s some nonsense about joining Sony Live or wtf ever they called it.

mmm yay Menus. And..the game is in. (Ridge Racer 7) and we’re off!! Stupid work schedules have kept me from playing it at any length. I’ll have to take time out on Tuesday or something to really “test” it thoroughly. I’ll get some pictures too. I guess this is proof that the Playstation 3 “shortage” is over. Though I doubt it’ll be any consolation to Ingrid.
