Young entrepreneurs can be a source in making the business environment successful in the future. Becoming a business owner before graduating from high school or college is becoming a norm for many young people. Being able to start-up a business at a young age can bring on early success and a solid financial foundation.

I can remember when I was young that I and my brothers actually created a little candy shack so that we could sell candy, chips and soft drinks to others in the neighborhood. We would buy the products and mark it up a little bit so that we could make money. Unfortunately, we sort of ate and drank most of our profits away but it was an early start to becoming a young entrepreneur.
From this early experience as a young entrepreneur, I was able to form early practices when it comes to business. Some of the things that I learned from this experience is that…
- Don’t be afraid to push past your fear and get started with your business.
- One must plan ahead and keep track in order to have continual success.
- Don’t spend your profit, invest it back into the business until you have a solid foundation.
- Surround oneself with wise counsel so that you can become successful in all that you do.
- Make sure to keep business and personal finances separate.
