Ask questions and get answers

More than 70 percent of Americans want to start a business. So what’s keeping them from doing it?

One word: FEAR.

But I think it’s easier than ever to get started. With great technologies now available, practically anyone with a computer and internet access can get started – without a lot of cash.ask questions and get answers

And one way to stop having fear get in the way is to ask questions.

Getting expert advice will help you successfully start and grow your business. You can find local support and training via government-funded small-business programs and community college business classes.

Plus, I think there’s a ton of small business owners who really want to help others.

For example, I’ve just met a great guy who’s worked in Fortune 50 companies, and now has reached out to me to tweak a few things. I can’t help being excited by having someone at hand to help me.

    Hi Shannon Cherry,
I agree with your point “I think it’s easier than ever to get started. With great technologies now available, practically anyone with a computer and internet access can get started – without a lot of cash.”

I think they fear that if they start a particular business it won’t get enough clients to leave their current full-time job. One way to get rid of that fear would be to -invest- in a coaching program. That way, they know from the beginning how their business can grow and if it’s a profitable niche in the first place.

  2. I agree, particularly when you say: “I think there’s a ton of small business owners who really want to help others”.
Believing that to be true I set up the virtual network http://www.irishbusinesswomen.com where on a daily basis small business owners [mostly but not exclusively women] provide mutual help and support to their fellow entrepreneurs.
