Over at my PR and publicity blog, I showed a great video that has a ton of elements that people can make note of when creating a viral marketing tool.

This works on a ton of levels.
First, it’s more than the basic YouTube video. It’s personal, and makes an impact to see someone’s name you know.
Second, it gives others the opportunity to customize it and send it to others.
Third, it’s smart and funny.
I’ve seen several Internet marketer, especially those using Web 2.0 strategies, use this video to promote their marketing programs. It’s clever, because it looks real and allows people dream big.

This is great. Showtime did a similar video for its release of Dexter Season Two, with a more macabre twist. But I like the election year tie-in!
