95,000 High Chairs Recalled
Wanna Take A Guess Where They Were Manufactured?
MSNBC is reporting that 95,000 Majestic High Chairs are being recalled due to a minor defect: the back of the seat has a tendency to fall off and result in broken bones and head injuries to toddlers.
And, yes, of course they were manufactured in China.
I think we can all agree there’s nothing quite so “majestic” as having your baby rushed to the hospital with multiple cranial fractures.
You could let your baby crawl across the ring in the middle of a mixed-martial arts match and that would be less dangerous than most Chinese-made products.
Additional recalls of products made in China include Phil & Ted’s Dash Buggy Strollers and Dinosaur Epoch toy dinosaurs. The reasons given are that the stroller has a frame latch that could break and the dinosaur toys have high levels of lead paint.
Although, you could have said every third stroller exploded in a ball of fire and the dinosaur toys had a chip that caused them to run amok and devour children and no one would have been surprised that the factories in China were making those kinds of products.
If their toys weren’t so dangerous, China would probably have a population of four billion by now.

It is pathetic that the Majestic chairs have such defects. Chinese maker should have been much more careful about it because it is related to safety.
Thanks for pointing out the issue.
