A Guide To School Eating

Bodybuilding.com has a great article on a seniors guide to the school cafeteria. As kids, we were always complaining about school lunches. It was always ‘nasty’. Institutional food service never was something exquisite. However it has comes a long way in the last 15 years or so. In school, the military etc., institutional food service has taken a change for the better. Mots things can be prepared by the masses and actually taste quite good and be healthy.

Kids will complain no matter what you feed them, unless it’s Pizza or Taco Bell. These days the biggest problem I can see is that there are other options offered in school such as vending machines. Vending machines offer high calorie foods filled with preservatives and fat. School lunches are actually the healthy route…but what kid is going to take that road? Would you like your kid to understand and learn about foods and nutrition before they start school? Give them an idea of what is good and what can help them grow healthy and be alert? Check out the link (Picture) below. Sit down with your child and read through this article at Bodybuilding.com. You don’t have to be a bodybuilder or even want to be a bodybuilder. This is just a great general article on school lunches and a guide to nutrition. Enjoy.
