The collector’s edition of the classic Beatles movie, A Hard Day’s Night, is now available on Blu-ray! If you haven’t seen it, you definitely should pick up (or rent) a copy!

The movie was done in a mockumentary style and it really is pretty hilarious. While it’s clearly exaggerated, I don’t doubt that some of those situations were not too far off from what the band really went through on a daily basis.
The critics loved the movie (Time even lists it among the top 100 films of all-time) and audiences turned out in droves to see the Fab Four on the big screen.
The 1964 film is also considered a major influence on spy films from that era and, of course, the development of The Monkees television show (I loved that show when I discovered the reruns!).
The tracks included in the movie are as follows:
- “A Hard Day’s Night”
- “I Should Have Known Better”
- “I Wanna Be Your Man”
- “Don’t Bother Me”
- “All My Loving”
- “If I Fell”
- “Can’t Buy Me Love”
- “And I Love Her”
- “I’m Happy Just to Dance with You”
- “Tell Me Why”
- “She Loves You”
