A history lesson on Shining Force

Fellow retro game blogger and all round good guy Racketboy has rather helpfully provided a waypoint to a nice little article on the history of the Shining Force series of games.

While the article itself may not look very pretty, it’s a great read and essential for those of you with a penchant for the old style RPGs. This may even serve to whet your appetite at the forthcoming Beggar Prince. One thing’s for sure, next time I see that friend of mine I mentioned before I’m begging and pleading with him to lend me Shining Force II.

Go and learn something! – Via Racketboy.

  1. The best game ever made!

The story, the music, the battle system, the characters, the World of Rune, the detailed items and weapons, the animation made for attacks, spell casting, the enemies and greater devils… all PERFECT!!!!

I’m sad that there are no more games like this. But this classic will remain forever as the best game of all times.
